why chicago over dc?

A good amount of my Fam from the Chi and its a beautiful city. Love the music and culture. I can get a nice sized home and raise a family for a good amount of money.
DC is really nice but I dont have anything personal there imo. I would like the access to NY tho.

Thats basically what I like about the chi as well and ive got family there also but the same goes for dc tbh( I dont really like gogo tho so maybe not the music). Im from ny lol so dc doesnt really have that advantage for me

same for me and ny, part of the reason I wanna move is that I just want to experience a different city/culture. But I already know that if I move away im probably gonna return at some point

i will say that dc is getting pretty gentrified so if you want the more urban side you gotta make connects
