You know the first person to die for this country to be founded was a black man?
We built country, it’s ours just as much as theirs if not more.
We shouldn’t want this countries armed forces to be full of white boys and for them to be the only ones benefiting from everything it offers.

I will say going to school on Uncle Sams dime is sweet though.

I’m kinda familiar with the navy... Fire control man was mainly a sea duty type job right? Radar and what not? Correct me if I’m wrong
Being in the navy is straight bullshit imo, especially enlisted.
All the politicking that goes into it, having to kiss the officers ass, the old “gentleman culture”
I would always recommend Air Force first, coast guard 2nd, army 3rd..navy, then marines

And no I’m not brainwashed. To be quite Frank I hate the army
there’s a lot of black people I know who have the same line of thinking as me. Im not in a combat related job. I just chill and play the game. But as much as people on ktt complain about their position in life and being broke and having no options, it’s a good idea for some folks here

I did 4 years without any problems at all, and the GI bill for college is great, I get almost 2k a month from it. I think I hated the military more once I got to operational, but my job wasn't a combat based role either.
You can very easily sign up for a civilian based job in the military get and and make 2x more than what you were making while you were in. It's a very valid option as long as you don't go signing up for the combat based roles.
