People don't need a purpose; they need something to do and get good at. The military is a viable option but there's so much other s*** you could do and you'd only have to deal with maybe half the bullshit.

This is also dramatic they do that stuff for their country like us joining for free education and health care. It’s also about perspective. They were born in that country. At the least I can serve one contract and get free healthcare and benefits out of it without blowing myself up

This country deprives black people of opportunities everywhere you look.This just like saying a black person shouldn’t go into the healthcare field or practice medicine because of how they experimented on us and still give us negligent treatment to this day
Or a black person shouldn’t practice law because of historically how the court system has been biased and still is to this day
Or a black person shouldn’t become a social worker, cop, firefighter and other s***.
Do y’all not realize how ridiculous it all sounds? Y’all want to bring change but the careers that bring change niggas don’t want to do. Talking about I don’t want to do this and that. White man this and that. Not realizing when you clock into your job everyday your putting wealth in some white mans pocket. No matter what you do in America you will be putting wealth in someone who oppresses you pocket everyday.
And I’m an uncle ruckus because I encourage black folks (who most of in this country are working class and lower, with no wealth whatsoever) to take a path that is guaranteed to give you a change of environment, gi bill, medicinal benefits for ya whole family, student loans paid (which are one of the reasons black millennials haven’t built wealth, student loans are killing their pockets) a bigger check, opportunity to invest and save your money and a skill that is marketable and move up multiple socioeconomic classes and I’m the one who’s wrong?
You niggas love talking about the environment which has black men out here killing and robbing each other, destroying our community further and s***ting on black women every opportunity that is presented but offer NOTHING. Joining the service is a easy 1 way ticket right out of that environment, especially for someone who has their head on right.
