The continued development of technology will worsen the situation. There is a movie called Elisium where richest people live on some ship or on a ring around earth which is green and nice, and others live on Earth that turned to crap.
I think maybe that's the solution. We should all move to the green, nice place on the planet, use the rest for resources, but instead of using some unlucky people, we can just pay more to those would work there. You know kinda like you can earn three times more if you work in that hazardous enviroment then you do in the normal one.

I think NFT in some way is connected to cryptocurrency, and mining is not good for enviroment as it requires way more energy for transactions.

there is a lot to detail, i’m definitely not the person but there are many eco and social problems ready to arise due to all this cryptocurrency s***e, harddrive material shortages / countries starting to protect their sources .. Dont Look Up’s plotline about them needing to mine the asteroid’s rare materials is rooted in truth, the new PS5 and XBOX had immediate shortages that neither company could do ANYTHING about, leaving ppl unable to even purchase one of em for over a year after launch. This is just the beginning and NFTs / digital currency & mining in general is speeding things up TREMENDOUSLY

it depends on the crypto, since theres no global authority they use different trust mechanisms. So something like ethereum (which uses pow) is harmful while something like solana (which uses pos) isnt
