it is a narrative. you could completely rid the world of crypto and the difference it would make on the environment would be marginal and that's probably giving it too much credit. 100 corporations are responsible for over 70% of the world's carbon footprint. they are the problem. getting rid of crypto isn't going to change that.

Nfts, at best, are rarely a good investment. but that’s it. same with bitcoin etc. Cryptobros desperately prate on and on about their practicality and applicability when in reality all they’re doing is either desperately trying to justify their commitment or disingenuously attempting to keep the value high

So you would rather invest in a company making up sales projections than invest in an artist struggling to survive whether the individuals decide its value and rarity? There are of course crypto bros, whales, money laundering,but if you solely focus on those things you lose sight of the bigger market

many also making metaverse or whole universe. A decentralized currency in the face of a government that had us begging for a stimulus check for a year and a half barely paid.
