He's a roleplay artist. Like Gambino, Bruno, current day Weeknd.

Warhol was genius
A genius at marketing his mediocre “paintings”
Greatest contribution he made to the world was in music

You literally can’t explain how without bringing up how he marketed them. Some are nice but he’s many tiers below Picasso, Basquiat, Van Gogh, Matisse, Dali, etc
y’all really hate this nigga
besides
great artists steal
I think OP is right about proper credit though
Reminds me of how Kanye “sampled” Avril 14th then didn’t give Aphex credit

Technical skill is irrelevant in regards to the real skill of impact and revolution in philosophy and culture that an artist brings to the table
Warhole was able to combine the iconography of popular culture with with the dazzling colors of his hand paintings and the eye grabbing layers of his silk screening, creating a physical manifestation of the uniquely American phenomenon of the popular spectacle and celebrating years of American iconography
His work laid a blueprint for pop art and modern day expressionism and helped revived Dadaist sentiments in modern art. The sheer absurdity of things like Four Marilyn’s and the context surrounding it would stump anyone classically trained in art

I respect what he’s done and thoroughly understand his influence but there’s too much irony involved in it for me to look at his paintings and feel “moved”
appreciate the write up fam. i feel the same way about this project too. whatever tyler feels like i guess
Hip hop fans complaining about people biting production is hilarious
What makes the genre stand out production wise was sampling and remixing old production. yeah it would've been cool if Tyler posted all the s*** he took from to get more people interested in these obscure records but I see literally nothing wrong with this.

bruh biting is litterally og hip hop language and has been frowned upon from the jump. Sampling is not biting, it's creative. Hip hop reinvented everything. This here is biting, he didnt do anything.
How bored are you? Part of me feels so bad for all you clowns that spend day after day posting stupid s*** like this. I just picture myself in your shoes, having no hobbies and doing nothing w your life, just scrolling through social media all day. Pathetic
new copypasta?
This shouldn't be downplayed as "just sampling". Compare Bound 2 to the OG Ponderosa Twins song, then compare A boy is a gun to the original song. Tyler not doing enough to change s*** for it to be considered "just sampling". A lot of you just didn't realize this and now you're dismissing the thread as hating
Would probably be agreeing with OP right now if this were a Logic album
I'm not going to act like Tyler is a liar or a snake because I've been aware of the songs he sampled and been bumping them for years now. But Puppet, Thank You, Are we still friends doesn't change enough for it to be considered entirely new tracks and certainly doesn't warrant that "All songs written, produced and arranged by" s*** he feels the need to flex on the cover. Would be far more suitable for Wolf, CB or FlowerBoy instead of IGOR
Super strange to me how Sir Baudelaire he’s credited as producing but it’s a Westside Gunn beat someone else made lmfao
!!!
Some of the tracks in OP is similar s***. He barely changed anything but has that disclaimer on the cover
I always found threads that try to get us to dislike something that’s generally beloved and celebrated pretty f***ing strange
