Well I think mash-ups are pretty cool and shouldnt be regarded as just lazily putting stuff together when it actually takes a lot of talent to make good mash-ups, and sample collage has been a thing for years too, like it's pretty much the fundation of hip hop lmao s*** started with people litteraly playing 2 records at the same time, they weren't adding any crazy synth solos or whatever on top of it... 40 years later were stuck with people saying "sampling bad no talent boohoo", like idk this thread comes off as incredibly close minded and short sighted ngl

Not even mentioning the fact OP was being nitpicky and only mentioned things that would fit his narrative lol, sure Igor has a lot of samples but what about all the little additional details Tyler added throughout? Igors Theme has way more than just "5 synth notes" added on top of the drums lmao it's got the lead synth, the bass synth, little vocal stabs, a whole ass synth solo towards the end, a piano breakdown,etc. Not even mentioning the really well done vocal arrangement lol
