Ever considered doing yoga?
Yeah I did actually
My mom is pushing me to try it bc it's gentle and I can just start slow and get going
It's probably the way I'm going to go with for a while bc the experience I had couple days ago made me realize that I can dunk a basketball but I'm a 90 yo when it comes to stretching and I can't just expect to do splits in a week
i started having some issues but now i stretch daily for maybe half an hour to avoid these issues and feel fine now never have issue i could send you my whole routine if you’d like
Yeah If you have it on your phone/computer I'd really appreciate it
Do you focus on any parts or the whole body?
i cant go further than few inches past my knees lmao
I don't think I'm the only one
With young people spending 90% of their lives in front of computers I expect everyone who's not paying attention is in a condition like that
also as I can see on my example being overall fit doesn't equal being flexible... I'm a cat on the court but whenever I have to touch my toes while sitting on the floor I look like a grandpa
OP has inspired me to start stretching more often

it’s just something i keep in my head from doing martial arts and sports for years i’ll write it down. stretches everything from the waist down
Welcome to the “My knee popped after my first jumpshot club”
Mobilize
-Try to get your body’s full range of motion in every direction
Warm Up
-Jog, skip, squat
Stretch AFTER Bball
-mainly lower body
Man I felt old as s*** when I had to warm up and cool down for exercise always thought it was some waste of time in school
You better start stretching lmao. Nobody stretches until they get hurt and by then you're already a little f***ed.
FINALLY
Thank you <3
youre welcome
search "mobility" and "stretch routine" on tik tok as well, you can downlaod them to your camera roll

i need this too pls
you got tight hip flexors. make sure to utilize trigger point therapy to help loosen them up
just stand there
legs not locked
now try reaching for ur toes
hold that for 2 min every day
u can sway ur torso a lil back and forth a lil 2

We got it
If you find any good routines hmu
you got tight hip flexors. make sure to utilize trigger point therapy to help loosen them up
That's interesting
You gotta eat right and work out bro
That's easy to say
I play ("played" before the second lockdown in my country) twice a week
I run 10km once a week
I do 20 pushups right after waking up
When it was still hot outside I was doing a lot of exercise but it was muscle gain focused or simply looking fit
So simply saying "work out" is not a solution
I need to put focus on that and when your whole body feels like a piece of stone it's not that easy to know what exactly to focus on
just stand there
legs not locked
now try reaching for ur toes
hold that for 2 min every day
u can sway ur torso a lil back and forth a lil 2
I did that 4 days ago and I pulled something in my back
I'm such a wreck
