Fellow old ppl. There are plenty of ways to stretch each muscle however, get used to NOT doing the bent over to toe touch stretch or even the sit and reach stretch for your hamstrings. The bend this creates in your low spine actually damages the disks between the vertebrae if you don’t do the stretches correctly.

Safest hamstrings stretches are laying supine and pulling your straight leg to your body with a belt or rope. Another is standing up and placing 1 leg on a bench or box and leaning forward.

OP has inspired me to start stretching more often

    I found something!

    reddit.com/r/flexibility/wiki/starting_to_stretch

This looks exactly like what I was looking for

I'll set up a routine and start doing it ASAP

Another thing I found and I think 95% of this site would benefit from this is an exercise on fixing the text neck

    reddit.com/r/bodyweightfitness/comments/7rjngr/i_could_finally_fix_my_posture_and_forward_neck

Two links and I'm frkn ready to get myself back to perfect shape
