scientifically speaking anyone without melonin is white (excluding albino and other conditions) what you choose to adopt and call yourself beyond that fact is another thing
Everyone has melanin. What they have iirc is pheo melanin. Somethin on that order
what other religion also doubles as a ethnicity/ race
All religious groups are ethnic since they form a specific set of cultural practices, traditions, and interpersonal relationships formed around the basis of that identity
it wasn't real anti-semitism, but it's erasure. it makes it seem like we were targeted for no reason other than hitler wanting to hurt people. that's not true. we were targeted for being jewish--because there was an evil perception of jews as a race
It's just foolish to say that the holocaust was only about "man's inhumanity". It was about a lot of things, but it all comes down to the root of white supremacy, which is by definition all about racism/hatred towards a group or groups of people who are not "purely white"
What's the treshold? The qualifications of who is considered white has changes over time and is different depending on where you are. It's a social construct.
correct on this as well. impressed how many people itt understand this
What happened to the 10 tribes of Israel? How can one find them?
But that's the problem, it has more meaning than just being a social construct now.
Actually part of the social construct is the biological and scientific claims that are made, in fact these claims were a lot bolder in the past.
The thing with social constructs is that they're justified by claiming they're not social constructs and simply biology.

exactly this. and when we were in the middle east we weren't middle eastern enough and so forth with wherever we've been pushed out of throughout history. so it makes sense for some people to believe in judaism as a race since they have never been considered "____" enough to belong to certain constructs throughout their existence.
i’m not talking about race, i’m talking about melanin. asian people have melanin

it’s not enough to produce color hence why it’s considered a medical condition
There are two entities you don't mess with in the entertainment industry. Even if you're accurate in what you're saying.
Jews were an ethnoreligious group, which means that their religion was inseparable or intimely linked to their ethnicity. Maybe at the beginning of judaism you could argue that they were a distinct group of people or a "race" but their population ended up mixing with too many other ethnic groups for modern jews to still be seen as a separate race or ethnicity, despite people like Hitler or some anti-semites seeing them as such.
Judaism is just a religion where the believers like to think that they're somehow descendant or related to the orignal israelites when ironically some muslims and christians in the middle east have more in common with the original jews or canaanites than your average american or european jew.
back when Europe was almost entirely white Jews were considered to be an outlier people. I think in the context of the holocaust it is fair to judge nazi perceptions of jews as being racial in nature, or at least "ethnic". in our less racially homogenous society of course jewish people are largely considered white.

Man what

You literally said white people don't have melanin which is completely factually wrong. What are you even talking about.
