OF Tape Vol 2 is nostalgic af. I still remember driving to the store to buy the CD. That era was the peak of OF’s popularity
I definitely wish the album was more cohesive and better put together though, there just isn’t much chemistry throughout the album.
I still really f*** with like half the album though
NY Ned Flander
Forest Green
A***og 2

Snow White
Rella

Sam Is Dead
Oldie
So I have few albums left it's just:
CO, No Idols, Numbers, 119, Wolf & Doris.
And I was thinking of doing Feel Good and MellowHigh (maybe before Doris?)
And even thought about going up to like 2014-2016 but not sure if it's too far gone. OF basically ended with Doris as I see it.

Yea Doris is basically the finale of Odd Future, it’s the last notable release from OF before they disbanded .
And Mellowhigh is extremely forgettable
Frank Ocean - channel ORANGE
The best albums are the ones that make you feel something... this is one of them. Frank has the ability to paint a picture with his lyrics in a very thought provoking, emotional way. We saw glimpses of this in Nostalgia Ultra but this time it's way more realized and done to perfection. The songs in this album are stories about different people and their lives and sometimes show Frank's point of view and how he relates to them. He shows the opposite point of views of the life of poverty and wealthiness, which he both experienced.
The album is also musically ambitious, delving into neo soul and psychedelic music, and features both great live instruments with a lot of soul and groove, and some alternative, contemporary sounds that make it sound relevant for that time, but unique enough to still sound amazing today. The only thing I could criticize really is Frank's voice, which has improved since but is a bit limited here. But he plays to his strengths and his range very well. Delivering some hardhitting emotional moments throughout the album, though mostly during the final songs.
CHANNEL ORANGE IS A 10
Fav songs: Thinking Bout You, Pyramids, Lost, Bad Religion, Pink Matter, Forrest Gump.

Hodgy Beats - Untitled EP
This is in fact an essential OF project. Juicy J, Flylo and The Alchemist blessed Hodgy with great production and he really floats on it. My only gripe is this should’ve been a full album/mixtape and the songs are too short. Very very surprised at how good this is. Check it out!
Fav songs: Bullshittin, Lately, In a Dream.
Oh man I forgot about this one. Classic.

Earl easily had the best verse
Rella is a classic from OF Tape 2
Tyler performed it on flower boy tour it still went crazy

Domo Genesis & The Alchemist - No Idols
Domo understood the assignment!! The Alchemist is probably one of the best producers alive.
This mixtape is so underrated the samples are crazy and get Domo into this more aggressive flow. The feature list is rare: Tyler, Earl, Vince Staples, Action Bronson, Smoke DZA, Freddie Gibbs & Spaceghostpurrp, all delivered. It’s different than the usual OF sound but aged well and could might as well be a new album. Really really like it and would recommend any rap fan to check it out regardless of being an OF fan.
Fav songs: Prophecy, All Alone, Power Ballad, Till The Angels Come, No Idols.

Shining star of all the OF projects, imo. Alchemist at his absolute peak. Daily News line up reads like fan fiction
And bring the OG cover to streaming!!!
