OFWGKTA - The Odd Future Tape

Not great to be honest. Kind of a tough listen but interesting to hear what early OFWGKTA sounded like. The only rappers in this mixtape are Tyler, Casey Veggies and Hodgy Beats and I pretty much liked them in that order.

A lot of meh songs with the highlights mostly being early Tyler songs that showcase his sound, for example The Tape Intro. It was also cool to hear him list his influences in one of the last songs. A lot of Neptunes produced albums named ofc.

I don’t think I’ll play this one again but you already hear they had something to them.

Release a day, he’ll be done in ~ 3 weeks lol

That was the cover for an album he was gonna make when he was 16 it was like a dream album of his where he was gonna get a bunch of his favorite rappers and do a bunch of flex luxury raps, the few songs that are online from it are him rapping about the same things hes rapping about on call me if you get lost except he actually has them now
