Sorry not feeling the Dena tape and don’t have much to say about it just decent late 2000s rap and he sounds a bit more confident than on OF tape vol 1. It was fun to have a Blame It remix here but that’s about it. Plus I couldn’t find it anywhere and had to go listen to it on mixtape monkey, lmao.

Edit: more mid than decent honestly.

    Tyler, The Creator - B******

It's been a few good years since I played it in full and I didn't remember it being this great. First off, B****** and Inglorious are both amazing songs where he goes hard on the emotion and shock value, I also like the idea of the album beginning and ending in a therapy session.

Still imperfect with a lot of songs that aren't as high as the peak moments. These would be: Seven, Odd Toddlers, French, Assmilk, VCR/Wheels, mostly the grimier songs here that leave the most impression.

Even the best songs are a little edgy but it's what I want to hear from OF lol. I think a lot of the bars are clever and it reminds me of Eminem / horrorcore rap. It has that indie quality but much better than the first tape and has a lot of interesting ideas. Even if he would end up doing them better years later.

Classic album imo, i feel like it unfairly gets lumped in with Goblin when its a lot more lyrical, better production, and was really introspective and vulnerable

    My favorite song is Blow

But I love B******, Seven, Odd Toddlers, Assmilk, VCR and Inglorious

    MellowHype - YelloWhite

Surprisingly good! I mean it's still pretty hit or miss but Hodgy is in his element here a little. There are some great tracks here and most of it is just fun. It still has some dark themes but mostly a lighthearted "swag" early 2010s type mixtape which is a nostalgic sound. It's at its best when he takes it a bit more seriously and makes a more theme focused song.

Left Brain's production feels amateurish but adds some character to the album and gives a different feel to the group's sound. I'd like him to rap more bc I like his voice (on here he only does some hooks) I assume that'll happen later on. Overall it's a good mixtape and worth a listen.

Fav songs: Polyurthane, CopKiller, CocainKeys, Rok Rok.
