Either Carpentry or Artillery/Small Arms Repairer. Artillery Repair sounds like something I would really enjoy doing but Carpentry can easily transition into the civilian world.

I’m taking note of all of this. Basic Training is gonna be hard bc I’m kind of out of shape but I’m taking this quarantine s*** and using it as an opportunity to get as fit as I can. Thank you for the advice man I really appreciate it.

I went in blind and no advice. S*** was not fun.

The main things that you need to pass.

Obv get in shape. If u get in shape b4 u get shipped off u aint gotta worry bout that.(you might be sore everyday) :)

Shooting(thats the toughest one)
Concentrate on breath control and proper positioning of your nose(keep it at the same spot always.)

Learn to eat in less than 10 min.
Learn to s*** and shower in 5 min or less.
Buy toilet paper.

Regarding shooting.
I think youll have it easier than i did.
We shot with iron sights.
I hear the new ppl shoot with a scope/ red dot sight and laser. which is dum ez...

My dad was in the army and his stories are hilarious. He never had to clean the s*** hole or kill anybody. He was an engineer. He was pretty awesome. I think you’ll be fine but depending on how old you are think it through

You got to be quick and ready to wake up. They don’t take s*** there. If two guys look at you at once and they both keep telling you to keep eye contact look at both of them. If you see a kid be careful. They may have a snake or bomb. If you are absolutely sure they are safe then talk to the kid. Never be to open with a foreigner during your time out. One of my dads comrades got killed because of that. Make sure you don’t have anything that you’re gonna miss too much that it distracts you. When you’re in a buggy always check your surroundings and wear protective gear. You never who could be shooting at you. Don’t talk down to the other people there. Only cause minor mischief like stealing an ice cream bar.

Shooting is the one thing I’m most excited for. I love guns and I want to get really good at shooting. Getting paid to fix guns sounds even cooler. This s*** is gonna be tough tho it’s definitely going to be the most difficult experience of my entire life.
