Ironically I went to one of the best colleges and had aspirations to become a doctor, I dropped out after pretty much a couple semesters. I don’t trade options anymore cause it was difficult for me, I’ve been mainly trading small caps. Doing a lot of swing trades & day trades as of late. After I get more money I’m gonna invest in a lot of dividend stocks

Honestly by actually investing. I believe business and investing are things where you can only learn so much. You gotta learn from experience. Stay dedicated and understand that EVERYONE gets f***ed in the stock market. I was fortunate enough to have friends who do this for a living and work at investment firms. There’s been times where I’ve lost a stupid amount of money, but there’s time where I’ve also gained a stupid amount of money. Learn how to take L’s and not try to make up for those L’s. Don’t let it get in your head too much.

Yeah honestly that’s what stopped me from proceeding. It’s not that it was too difficult for me, it just wasn’t what I wanted for myself or how I envisioned my life. Felt like I would’ve lost too many of my “golden” days and lived a stressful life. Would’ve been in debt too.

Debt is scary for sure, and even though you have the earring power to make it up you have to sacrifice another 1-3 years of earning potential to pay it back quickly.

What kind of jobs you working without a degree though?

I work for myself now, the only job I really worked for was this aerospace company and rocket mortgage (where I made a lot of money)

Yes, I had the option to become a president club banker, but that was around the time I decided I wanted to work for myself

its not racist its a systemic fact that the majority of business owners are indeed white. i say this because i am black and i have family who were business owners. i would like to continue that trend versus doing what my parents have taught me.

Except your thread title is a lie, because you literally don’t work for a white man 💀 next
