you should read into anthropological studies regarding gender and power structures

societies where women played a more powerful place in society (nordic, southern chinese, australian aboriginal, aztec) all featured violence between states that was just as potent as male dominated societies

the neoliberal notion that women would transform a power structure of they were in power has been pretty solidly debunked
