Ya & the responsibilities of a CEO usually are 500x more stressful than those of ur average employee. I mean atleast if they doing it right

Imagine navigating thru 50 lawsuits, being on call 24/7 & having to oversee an entire organization

No thx Jeff keep ur bread

He has people who handle all of that for him, he’s not sitting in front of a table with 50 phones ringing constantly desperately trying to hold Amazon afloat

I think you’re underestimating just how much stress living paycheck to paycheck brings to people, i’m sure Bezos & all the other CEOs have stresses & bullshit like everyone else except they don’t have to worry about anything related to finances which is an immense burden on the average person’s life & wellbeing

I think the main issue is worker compensation being too low rather than CEO/executive pay being too high. Compared to 1965 it takes a f***ton more knowledge and expertise to be a top level executive. Most of the biggest companies are tech companies one way or another, supply chains are globalized and far more complicated etc.

So ya I would stagnating wages is the crux of the problem.

Kinda has a valid point idk about 500x more, but if you really think the CEOs job isn’t MUCH more difficult and risky than an employees, you’re drunk.

yea dude its so hard worrying about stock prices

unlike having to worry about feeding your loved ones and housing your loved ones and avoiding any type of emergency health or otherwise that will leave you in debt for decades.

jeff bezos could walk away right now and never have to worry about work again.

on top of that amazon needs workers to work trucks logistics legal warehouses etc. if jeff died tomorrow amazon would be fine.

Dude thats 1 example, do you think Jeff Bezos is the only CEO on earth?

Jeff Bezos built that company to be what it is. Anyways if a company goes to s***/bankrupt what happens to the employees and what happens to the CEO?

yea im using him as 1 example because it makes the issue more concrete.

the fact that there's so many many more people living in excess wealth while the country at large suffers as a result of their actions shows there's clearly something wrong happening.

honestly its cool that jeff bezos built amazon to be such an efficient and useful vendor for large scale shipping and everything amazon is. i dont conflate it w believing that he "deserves" the insane amount of surplus wealth he's accumulated.

again amazon would be nothing without the workers who do the work needed for the company to make a profit.

honest question: why do you feel the need to defend the ultra rich ? i don't believe they're doing anything for you but making life harder for you and everyone you love but i don't know anything about you and i want to know why u feel me
