The reason I say if there’s a justification is because, Lebanons situation is really complicated. The reason Hezbollah is able to gain more and more followers is because of propaganda but also because they did so good things protecting the country from Israel and America. We do not know if Lebanon would be Lebanon today if Hezbollah was not there. I think if they saved thousands and thousand of lives then t does not surprise me they have so much power.

This is what Sharia Law is and by definition one cannot separate it from 7th century Arab culture and tradition.

Therefore they started to manipulate the religious teaching so that a sophisticated society can be governed by them & that's where the Hadiths (Sayings on the prophet's traditions) came into play. Hadiths mixed with the couple of pages of law derived from the Quran formed sharia.

You can't and that's why an Islamic democratic government has never existed, Because Sharia law is flawed and outdated! Only way to fix it is a reform. But there wont be because it is Holy! Can't touch none of it. In Shi'ism not only Muhammad himself but 12 generations after him and their supposed sayings are considered holy too. It's all a mess.

Honestly you can read the wikipedia page about the Shah’s regime pre 1979 to see where this regime came from.
