back in the early youtube/forum days the convo was way more one note with the tides slowly shifting as more people looking back in retrospect realized biggie was the better rapper, there's a whole post-2010ish brigade that hopped on that boat once the storm of their deaths calmed down and the convo around them got less emotional and more and more rappers kept citing big as ahead of his time and unparalleled in skill, think push religiously talking about that young gs verse
not saying pac isn't bigger but if anything, once the dust settled and newer gens came up pac's personality cult started to wane a bit while big's skill set had a huge resurgence in the convo cuz it's still unparalleled and unique to this day, he's been aging better among rap purists across generations

I ain’t talking top 5, I’m talking greatest of all time. Biggie don’t never get the greatest of all time label, not like pac does. Primarily cause pac means more to the culture outside music. You can say biggie makes better music(even if I disagree) but this a convo about greatest of all time, whether you like it or not that includes off the record too
