Literally no words said by anyone ever could ruin my day lol. That means 90% of racism is irrelevant to me
If it’s isn’t something physical or dangerous then idc
I guarantee I could come up with something that would make u angry

so what if you were denied employment due to the color of your skin, but it was not explicitly said
what if you were denied due to your class/financial status, something greatly affected by your race in america?
Ya I live in my own bubble and will only directly deal with something involving me. May come off as selfish but I find I protect my peace best that way. Around 2020ish I was way too caught up in the election, protests etc and it resulted in me having horrible anxiety so I told myself I’m not doing that anymore
I obviously recognize it, despise it, and have incidents where I’ve been directly or indirectly profiled or discriminated and know how awful a feeling it is to be unfairly judged

I don't understand the context of this question
I'm black and if someone ever discriminated against me for a racial reason I would definitely be upset
If you're black and not seriously wealthy you're going to experience racism. And I don't mean someone randomly calling you a racial slur. I mean your existence by default is steeped in poverty by people who made sure it would be that way before you were ever born.
I kinda pity like real openly racists. Exhausting your energy for such a thing just feels stupid to me.
But I hate closeted racists with a passion. Way more than those far right type openly racist people.
I haven't experienced a ton of racism directed at me but being around racists pisses me the f*** off
racist people are annoying as f*** and it's pretty annoying how people will generalize you before even talking to you

i meant to answer the other guy
You should never be unbothered by racism
That’s how whites change laws to take our rights away or kill us in the streets cus they know they can get away with it

!!
That’s why I never understood those that try to preach about letting that s*** roll off our backs. If we let s*** slide and not speak up, they will feel more justified in getting over on us. Bowing down and taking it on the chin is never the right solution. If we as black people didn’t fight against the things they were dealing with in the past, we would still be so far behind.
Imagine being unbothered by your dirty clothes piling up and racism
The degree of separation here is immense
You should absolutely be “bothered” by racism
racism doesn’t affect me but i’d much rather it not be a thing if that’s what you’re asking

Hey man. I posted the exact same thing five posts above yours. You could've at least quoted my post instead of reposting the same thing.
You should be bothered by it, regardless of whether or not it affects you. Any other take is trash.
