capcom isnt a dev they are a publisher. RE9 took devs 6 years to make and the story is absolute nonsense and falls off once you change to leon in the open world.

these are 4 completely different dev teams owned by capcom. They have just had a fire decade of publishing games. The run is crazy. But id change OP to publisher not dev

Its all games made in house at Capcom. Almost every bigger developer has multiple teams. By your definition, only some indie studios would be in the conversation

its like nintendo NPD 1 and NPD2. they are differennt teams headed by different people. They are completely different. Just cause they are all named capcom doesnt make it the same dev. Sony santa monica, Naughty dog, and insomniac are not all sony. But if they were all called sony studios would you say its the same dev?

They're still top 2 just under Nintendo simply because Nintendo is a bigger publisher and can publish more games

Capcom publisher still clears everyone not named Nintendo, even SIE and Xbox game studios

They bounced back from an era of being most hated for micro transactions and bullshit . I’ve always appreciated them
