resident evil mainline team
remake team
pragmata team
onimusha team
these are 4 completely different dev teams owned by capcom. They have just had a fire decade of publishing games. The run is crazy. But id change OP to publisher not dev
why would you make the distinction, if it’s all internal dev?
Nintendo?
Sega?
you must be joking with sega right?
nintendo i hear you but low output and some really middling returns on some of their titles.
metroid prime 4 is leaving a bad taste personally
Idk i heard things about that onimusha demo, i don't trust the reviews until someone with the right action games pedigree can chime in.
They're still top 2 just under Nintendo simply because Nintendo is a bigger publisher and can publish more games
early reviews said they nerfed the demo for some reason?

Cause it’s different studios. All under the capcom name

They did cause it’s a demo and you’re trying to get people to buy the game not get so mad they don’t finish demo
This year no remakes
What games have they put out this year that people genuinely care about besides fans of Japanese games and resident evil

Pragmata
ONIMUSHA this week
I don’t limit them to Japan
Also street fighter updates
What was wrong with Wilds? I copped a couple weeks ago on sale, gonna be my first MH
It was clearly rushed out and unfinished at launch.
-Post game (meat and potatoes of MH) was super barebones and required us to basically fight 1 monster for months.
-no gathering hub at launch (lmao)
-Artian grind sucks and isn’t fun
-Game is overall too streamlined and fights were too easy
-Game was ugly and unoptimized for awhile
-seikret trivializes the game
-you couldn’t even hunt the final boss until a later title update (lmao)
That’s all off the top of my head, but there’s much more. A lot of the issues have been fixed post launch, but there’s much are still a few lingering problems that just come down to how the game was designed. If you bought it recently, you’re playing the best version, congrats. Despite being in a much better state, MH wilds is still considered a bottom tier MH game. Hopefully the expansion changes that

"games people care about" except Resident Evil the 13th highest grossing video game franchise with a new movie coming out in 3ish weeks

Play the demo. It’s pretty easy (by design) but there’s a lot of depth to the combat and capcom promises that the full game is much more challenging
Cause it’s different studios. All under the capcom name
yeah but come on they all share ethos/resources/staff - it's a little silly to treat them like they're siloed away

if it was harder i prolly woulda bought it already
if it was harder i prolly woulda bought it already
The game is much harder. S*** even the boss fight they added is more difficult

What in the world is this dumb ass s***?

its not just this run they have been for years lol
multiple upon multiples classics, most of which are some of the best games of all times. iconic mascots through several generations with influence across the industry, and theyre still making new ips and finding ways to innovate like with pragmata
theyre neck and neck with nintendo for me
