Was on an anonymous confessions page on IG yesterday and most of the replies were like "Before you judge, just know that there's probably an underlying reason"
Okay, there are situations where I understand cheating like if it's an abusive relationship or the cheater communicated their issues trying to break up with their partner and the partner did that whole "I'll do better" spiel but doesn't actually change. But generally speaking, it is possible to break up before cheating and people don't do that
The latter is not an excuse
If the partner doesn’t change, you should be ending the relationship
Not trying to one up their s***tiness by cheating
The only acceptable reason for cheating is if you need somebody who can help get you out of an abusive household or situation. And even then, I think s***ty and lowers your self worth if you need to sleep with somebody to get them to get you out.
