Eminem discourse is so annoying cause the last decade or so of music he’s made has been very bad but the conversation always turns into “he’s always been bad”. The good stuff is really good and not worth dismissing. With hip-hop people seem to do this thing where if someone isn’t maintaining quality across decades their entire artistic output is put into question. No one does this with any other genre.

If he died in 2006-2008(like he prob should have w/ how many d**** he was taking) he would be regarded as the best ever for sure. He just hasn’t had the ability to release good music since relapse and unfortunately he keeps doing it. So it’s not far fetched for ppl to have this opinion
