I'm not hating on FHD, I think it's a very good album and objectively Cole's best. Just not a classic
Cole’s best work is still his mixtapes. FHD is pretty good but like you said it isn’t a classic. It just happens to stand tall against his other albums that he’s released. However put FHD against real classics and it doesn’t hold weight.

Wouldn’t really say he ran a generation, he’s just kind of been there and after 10 years he anointed himself as some elder statesman of rap.
