Bro why are you insulting me? If I misunderstood your point you can just explain that lol I was just tryna have a discussion about music

Idk why you’re taking it so personally lol

the gaslighting is crazy. you came out the gate quoting me w no context then going “imagine thinking” being obviously confrontational. that ain’t no discussion. and im the one taking it personally? that’s funny. i am explaining s*** to you too and you still not getting it but no problem

    keep going off though

i would argue kendrick’s pen is at least a whole grade below nas’. strictly lyrically speaking. kendrick can’t write like that and if he can he has almost never shown he can

nah i grew up on nas but kendrick pen is wicked im sorry

There's an argument for this gen. I posted this earlier:

I don't think people are fathoming what Kendrick did. A moment ago Cole and Drake were on top of the world celebrating with FPS, stroking each others ego's of being the best and to top it off went on a cuddling tour then this boogeyman came outta nowhere and told them both f*** that s***, ended up making one of the "goats" run away and the other got obliterated to the point he wishes he did what cole did. To top it off Kendrick still ain't said a word and now he's back to his peaceful life. This guy is a menace

  • story telling, flow, metaphors, he genuinely on par at least with the best of em and i really do love nas

  • May 10, 2024

I’m talking about MUSIC, its a music forum. You’re over here calling me names and talking about you’re getting gaslit because I disagree and possibly misunderstood your point about Kendrick

I didn’t say anything insulting to you and I’m still not, if you don’t like because I said “imagine” then I’m sorry, its a phrase I use a lot when I’m disagreeing with an opinion but I do not mean it as an insult or to be personal

He did focus on the construction of an album with Me Against The World imo that album is cohesive and doesn’t have a lot of features and is on par with any Dot album to me and many other people

Like idk I genuinely think Pac’s music is just as good as Kendrick’s even without doing a woulda coulda shoulda. I do kinda see where you’re coming from because I had to get more into Pac over time a lot of his stuff had to grow on me but his music all clicked when I listened to Me Against The World for the first time personally

I just really wish he was alive man

I dont even wanna talk bad about pac I love that man. Just dont think he is a better rapper than ken with what we have now

I also enjoy tyler a lot so just my personal taste those 3 are probably my favorites

I’m talking about MUSIC, its a music forum. You’re over here calling me names and talking about you’re getting gaslit because I disagree and possibly misunderstood your point about Kendrick

I didn’t say anything insulting to you and I’m still not, if you don’t like because I said “imagine” then I’m sorry, its a phrase I use a lot when I’m disagreeing with an opinion but I do not mean it as an insult or to be personal

uh no again you didn’t talk about s***, you just quoted me with links to song im already intimately familiar with while i replied to you with discussion that you didn’t engage in. you misunderstood as you admit yourself, so why don’t you just take your foot off the gas? im not the one you wanna beef with. plenty of drake glazers you could be doing that with fam.

and alright, but saying “imagine x” is definitely an insulting thing to say, the implication is “imagine being this f***ing stupid” see? if you tryna keep it cool don’t quote niggas saying that i guess

  • May 10, 2024

Yeah that narrative needs to die. Drake was trying to win in social media games and still backfired because Kendrick ended up making an anthem like back to back. He drake'd drake

Bro I definitely was not saying imagine being this f***ing stupid, I’m just saying I couldn’t imagine having that opinion. I didn’t call you stupid or imply you were stupid

I’m not beefing with anybody, and if I want to be disrespectful I have a lot better ways of doing that than saying imagine.

Again I already said if you took it that way then my bad that’s not how I meant it and I’m even saying I may have misunderstood your point so idk what the problem still is but I’m gonna just leave it alone lol

yeah exactly you said all that already and i believe you. im just giving you advice that 99% of the time when folks use that phrase it’s in a patronizing elitist way, literally never seen it used any other way i ain’t beefin i was just tryna help you out before you say that to someone else and they take it the way they’re supposed to take it which is aggressively
