Downtown LA & Hollywood believe it or not can get hectic but for most part s*** isn’t super crazy
Didn’t see s*** in Hollywood other than mixtape rappers charging for whack music
ya that was tha plan but ppl make it sound like you gon have problems by just stepping one foot outside lmao
Nah u should be fine as long as youre just at the concert. Mostly outsiders hype it up due to news n music, i used to live in CA but I still visit Oakland n Vallejo in the Bayarea & LA almost every year for friends n family.
The issues come mainly at night in some areas, or during the day in the heart of the real extreme places. Most general trouble tho is by n to people in the thick of it already.
Just stay away from wearing red or blue, theres always an idiot kid trying to prove something even if they really arent part of anything. Even if not physical it can lead to harrasment from a jackass if they think they can f*** with you.
Other than tho just be chill n to urself n u should be good.
Hollywood is a hellhole for the most part. West Hollywood has some nice spots but it's so far out of the way from everything that it gets annoying. It costs like $30 to park on the strip.

Hollywood is whatever most of the time but over the years it’s an area where gangs from all over LA come to hang out so shootings and killings happen on melrose and Hollywood Blvd often. And the Latino gangs in the Hollywood area are pretty serious too. I’m talking a few blocks down like East Hollywood\Eagle Rock
I grew up in LA in 90’s and 00’s. It’s not as bad as it used to be. Niggas don’t care about colors anymore and race relations are much better. Nobody pressing like they used to.
Ofcourse it happens but not like back in the day. I used to get pressed often

Its mainly a wannabe that does the harrasing using a stereotype that is basically a decade outdated
Gentrification is reducing crime, pushing it out into the IE and Las Vegas. I’ve been reading reports how Vegas is rising in crime due to transplants.
I’m from Inglewood/Hawthorne area, near Rams stadium. Never seen white people walking they dogs at night till recent years
I live here and have lived here all my life
basically seen it all and know it all
It's really not that dangerous at all if you simply don't run with problematic people.
You can wear red, blue, go anywhere in the city really. You will be fine so long as you don't look like you're seeking trouble.
Media can sensationalize stuff, but it's pretty hard to find yourself in danger if you're actively not looking for it.

I stay in DTLA, the environment can switch up easily depending on what part you’re in but it’s not like a “scary” switch but a sad switch. Goes from big apartment buildings with tourists to all homeless tents and people with carts begging for money, not really scary though.
Imagine being scared to visit a city, them niggas should be more worried I’m coming!
