Again, none of the “issues” that are said about people wearing reps are anything specific to reps. There are people who buy authentic versions just to follow hype trends, cannot style the s***, and just want attention.

this is a fair point, however i think people that exclusively buy reps are a little bit more at risk of not having any style or taste because again, they’re so concerned with fitting in with whatever’s new out, that they aren’t even really taking care to figure out how it looks on them etc. as opposed to a hobbyist who has actually went through their own journey in getting their own style down pat
if there is someone who is buying these fake clothes because they genuinely like the design and just simply cannot afford it then that’s different and i don’t even think anyone would necessarily say anything negative about that, but i have a feeling that sort of person is sort of the minority compared to hypebeasts or else there wouldn’t be any reason to even want the actual OG version of the stuff over the reps at that stage
it just comes down to if you care about the actual principles/authenticity of whatever you got
