This is such a s*** excuse and not at all how it’s been. I know you live in the bay but I live in the city and can assure you it’s not great. They’ve closed a bunch of stores near me due to shoplifting within the last few weeks. Other parts of the country aren’t having this problem to this extent

Anyone who lives in the city can tell you it’s not great petty crime wise. Not much violent crime though. I think the media has overblown the recent s***, but it’s more that it’s been like this for the last couple years than that it’s getting bad all of a sudden

Even if it’s a problem unique to the bay, it’s causes are not unique to the bay and will be something we only see more and more of in other cities and towns

S*** crazy as hell out there dog on God I swear everyday it’s either a big shooting, cars getting broken into, stores robbed, buildings catching fire, people reported missing, etc it’s always something. I got friends out there they be inviting me to go out there to bars and s***, I’m good on that

I understand that bigger issues are the root cause of the city’s problems with this sort of crime, but the city also permits a general lawlessness that a lot of even progressive citizens are kind of getting tired of. It just makes the situation even worse since people just take advantage of the situation

They just closed my closest Walgreens cause they stopped restocking s***, as it’d get stolen too fast to restock or something. Not exactly a welcome place to live. Haven’t really seen this s*** in other major cities

Mfs solutions to the s*** was a gun buy back program that gave you grocery coupons for your s*** and ever since then gun violence has gone up triple im getting tf out soon as my lease is up next year.
