Between African Americans and Africans I mean, which one actually dealt with the mental and economical effects of Jim Crow?

Between African Americans and Africans I mean, which one actually dealt with the mental and economical effects of the GI Bill?

Between African Americans and Africans I mean, which one actually dealt with the mental and economical effects of Black Wall Street riots in Tulsa?

Coming into a place and not having those kind of generational traumas within a land that has personally done you and your "native born" family wrong through decades and decades, is an advantage whether you wanna admit it or not. Natively America blacks dealt (and still deal) with the major burden of America's slavery. African immigrants don't. That's a fact.

Im no expert on African countries, but you make it sound like "oh they never experienced this like us African Americans did" as if they was just living the high life.

You do realize, that a lot of immigrants specifically come here, for a better life and better opportunities than what they were having in their home country right?

Imagine some black african family from a poor country comes over here, succeeds and going "well yall aint deal with the mental effects of what I went through that happened decades ago"

Like other dude said, a lot of THEM are still dealing with stuff from the past too that also affects their outcome such as colonialism.

And in no way am I belittling that.

But in return, I'd like for them and for people like you, to not belittle the trauma and s*** from the past that has actively affected US in this same country as well to this day.

All I'm saying is, there is a legitimate advantage of coming to America as a foreigner and finally experiencing the advantages that a regular lower class African American already probably dealt with prior to foreigners have and seen how White America will destroy those same advantages (once again, I bring up Black Wall Street) and seen how those deliberately set generations of African American families back.

So yes. Pulling the "Africans do better than African Americans" card when the latter is still dealing with obstacles and environmental dangers that come from being in (and RAISED from) these American hoods in comparison to somebody that don't have all those years/decades of dealing with the systemic and colonial American failures of these African American-specific issues (it's still harder for us as to get loans versus immigrants in general marketplace.org/2020/06/26/black-applicants-more-likely-be-denied-mortgages ) is dumb asf lol.....

What about that is hard to comprehend?

tl;dr: standardized testing is still oppressive. Every nigga can "stop aspiring to be basketball players" (a very white washed view of looking at an occupation that most people in these areas see, make way more concrete money than most college-graduate work positions btw) and that still wouldn't change the fact that standardized testing is still oppressive.

Can you provide examples of these benefits and preferential treatment that black immigrants receive that most African Americans dont?

It’s not like America only hates African Americans. They hate all black people lol.

the average african immigrants coming and taking SAT/ACT in USA are smarter than the average black american.

the chance of making the nba is next to none. So yes people should stop trying to "rap or go to the league" learn a trade. theres trade/tech high schools even. everyone doesnt need to go to college and everyone shouldnt.

who else I shill for that's said they an outright socialist? I've debated with Synop over many things.

it don't take a socialist/democrat whatever to see that black people are still being oppressed in America in 2021.

You saying the opposite means something is wrong with you. Prolly not black tho so it's whatevs.

still man, sayin he can't talk about black issues cus he doesn't agree w/ you and whoever else believes what you believe is really strange

something something not a monolith, but if the stance taken afterwards is "you can't speak about black things bc u dont agree w/ us", then you're heading towards monolithic thinking

i'll edit dis to say that the statement is dependent on whether tha goat is black i guess; the monolith point doesn't make sense otherwise n i just assumed he was cus he said "we" in dat screenshotted post. coulda been referrin to smthn else ig
