that seems to be the problem all the hipsters and hybeasts on here have with it. the box logo was cool until you saw your white nerdy neighbour in the burbs rocking one then it was passe. the clothes are still the same high quality and dope original style that they have always been it seems

why do all the hypebeasts and hipsters need something to be unpopular for it to be cool?

Eh it's one thing to be popular but I think it goes a little overboard sometimes and THAT leads to it being corny.

Because they are hypebeasts and hipsters?
If you like a supreme piece, just get it, why would you care what random people you'll never meet think about it

The type of people that the general public associates the brand with these days have become significantly lamer.

because little corny kids who didnt know how to dress gave that s*** a bad rep. Theres still fire pieces and this season has been dope, but a lot of people just don't want to be associated with that s*** like that.

no. its because they make corny clothing for teenagers that say "fuck" 100 times

their designs have been a little more hit or miss but ya the majority is probably due to the memeification of the brand

  • May 28, 2021

not cause it's popular, but because it's mainly on corny hypebeasts or ppl with no style

supreme itself is cool and has dope pieces but the hype makes it synonymous with the lames that are seen wearing it

  • May 28, 2021

    yes

  • May 28, 2021

they quality dropped off when they got bought out but they always have 2/3 pieces that are hard a season

  • May 28, 2021

the only ppl saying their s*** is trash usually only talk / know about bogos

There’s a fanmade doc on YT that talks about James Jebbia and how Supreme always has stuck to their core values and it’s true. It’s mainly the people that wear Supreme that change the perception of the brand and not the people and mission of it at all. It’s only corny cause you allow yourself to care about who’s wearing Supreme instead of just liking their pieces tbh

You're kidding yourself if you think Supreme is only corny now because of its popularity. The quality of the design has gone down significantly. Almost every single piece now has huge branding and the word Supreme plastered all over it. Most of the old guard of designers have left to start their own brands (which haven't been able to capture the same magic or quality as Supreme imo).

Compare the 2012 fw lookbook that Dill modeled to the stuff they're putting out now. I really think the design itself has gotten significantly cornier regardless of who is wearing it.
