The final act is a bit weak. Other than that it really redefined the genre unlike anything before or after it.

Rises is over-hated

It has at least four or five scenes that leave me in awe. Opening scene. Bank chase. Football stadium. Alfred crying…. I could go on. Is it TDK? No. What is?
Still find it to be a damn good superhero movie with a wonderfully visceral villain. The plot holes don’t really take away much from my enjoyment, basically because I think it does a good job of making me care about the characters.
