I know neither is in stock anywhere anyway but I’m still considering which one to get, I know that physicals get really cheap compared to ps store (Darksiders 3 on ps4 is literally $60 on there while it’s $5 on eBay for example) but the sales on psn are good and so is ps plus and ps now. All my ps4 games are digital as well.

The black box for the digital looks solid too I wanna actually keep it and show it to my great great grandkids 😂

I just don’t want to spend waku bucks only for the convenience of digital considering there may not be sales but if there is I’ll feel like I wasted $100, the drive is useless to me I’ll rather stream 4K movies and tv as well.

Physical is a better deal. No way around it

If you only buy digital games and you don't want to buy 4K movies/TV shows, go digital

there is literally no benefit of digital besides price and maybe equal proportion of the console

Extra $130 in Canada. Just checked Best Buy and most 4K players are going between $300-$400. The 4K drive is a steal for $130

Disc, even if you never use it the option of it helps drive down digital prices. Having the extra option literally has no negative impacts

I also buy digital codes at a discount on raise with new account codes. I get 50$ codes for 36$ every time I want a game

plus I only really get Sony exclusives on ps5 and I get them all at launch so disc I will literally save no money by getting a disc for my use case

thought I read somewhere that the disc drive doesn't compare to good 4k blu-ray players. It's mainly a gaming and streaming console with the add on of being able to play movies.

theres other ways to play movies on your tv too.

There are always good deals from psn store. You just got to wait. physical copies of gold editions/deluxe editions are still going to cost a lot, not the standard edition though.

to each there own but I don't feel like collecting boxes thats just unnecessary clutter. don't have to worry about switching games. If you had 40 ps5 games rn i doubt you'll have the right game in the right box. Just unnecessary upkeep in 2020.

Digital is cool but I don’t see why you would want to limit yourself.

i know it makes a ton of sense for businesses

but digital only will forever be scust

no matter the medium

Digital gaming is only for people that get their games on release date.

PSN sales come every so often, not too familiar with it.

But I still buy 4K Blu-ray movies and this has a UHD drive, so I got physical.

Now that I own one, I might have to get a digital PS4 Pro when it comes out.

Also, I can’t stand the clutter of physical s***, so I slowed that down a lot as well.

I don’t have anywhere to display my collection of s***, nor do I really want to.
