  • I’m not even talking about any of the big three religions, hell you can believe in god and not give a f*** about that bullshit. I’m talking about the fact that there are people out there who don’t believe in anything. Just that we are a sack of meat that is meant to be miserable and die.

Let’s be honest there is a correlation between not believing in god, and being depressed, being a cynical angry motherfucka who wants to bring everybody down with you. Those people that believe nothing we do matters anyway. There are a lot more of them popping up and it’s causing society to degrade right before our eyes.

Overly religious people are just as bad as these types too. So the true question is how can we find the middle ground, live by a moral code, help others, and live life with meaning and believe in something greater than us?

Ima break it down in my new book coming December 22nd 2020 titled “Cynicism and religion: tales from the preacher man” which will be volume 1 of a three per series. God bless

    Most definitely

When you dont believe in anything your soul starts decaying and theres no reason for anything apart from money, power, fame, greed, lust, status etc etc

  • Jul 21, 2020

Idk about all this. But I think spirituality is important and we as a human race have moved away from it. Im interested in your book tho let us know when you get it out.

  • i think nothing matters in the way that you should whatever you think will make you happy instead of nothing matters so what’s the point in doing anything, you should try and be happy while you’re here

i would say it's more to do with record income inequality, impending ecological disaster, lack of opportunities for young people, fascism on the rise, etc etc etc!

But this correlates because if the people on top really gave a f*** and we're good helpful people. We wouldn't be living like this. There greedy and selfish.

I agree with that, this is something I plan to touch on. I think there is a correlation between these things and the fact that so many people are miserable. But think about the people who influence and determine these factors that are f***ing people over.

Godless heathens who’s soul has been lost to the power of the dollar, no moral code or care for others in the world only money.

We gotta find a way to get people who care about others in position of power and that all starts with them being instilled with those beliefs.

    God bless

I understand it is in our nature to be competitive. But lettuce be cereal we as humans did not get this far by not cooperating with each other. Humans came together to become king of the jungle, we should all aspire to help each other not f*** each other.

I believe there's going to come a time where those people will be forced to help. There not going to do it willingly but there gonna do it.

You could be right, but honestly I think what changed everything is social media. Thats the biggest change in the last 20-30 years, social media and technology. I feel there’s always been people that didn’t believe in anything. People just weren’t outspoken about it.

Social media has set such unrealistic expectations, goals, and standards for damn near every aspect of life.

if things are going to change for the better don’t people first have to be aware of what’s wrong with the world? not to go on some cliche “religion is the opiate of the masses” spiel but the world’s always been f***ed up and people always had reasons to feel hopeless/sad, religion just acted as a coping mechanism imo

Social media has f***ed a lot of things and change life as we know it 100% but not the things he is talking about imo. I think humans were already headed in this direction pre social media.

I am amazed everyday how people seem to have lost any kind of self reflection. Everybody right now thinks they are so goddamn smart and they already know all the answers. That is why they cant be religious anymore cause they think they are above it.

Political movements seem to be the new religion people base their code of ethics of. No wonder you get depressed when you think everybody is your enemy. And crazy enough alot of people also think you are the enemy.

No society has just simply gone to s***, and the media keeps reminding us we can't do s*** about it?

  • Jul 21, 2020

Religion causes much of those people to be miserable and angry

Fake propagandaized organized religion, not a personal belief and journey

Even when religion played a prominent role in how we governed, those at the top were still scummy.

I see what you’re saying, this is something I touch in the book.

I don’t think social media is the cause of this, I do think it helps spread the ideology though and keeps people trapped in it..

I definitely agree with your last point social media has set a lot of unrealistic goals about a plethora of things which can effect people

I'm not saying religion is the answer. I'm like the second post in this thread look at it. I think op gets the gist of it but I think it's more of a spirituality thing. If he can do better through religion than so be it. He ain't f***ing with me.

Yes, this is something I touch on in my book. If you look throughout history religion was a guise to control people used by powerful people for their own benefit.

I am talking about those who will use religion as a way to help one another, and help people believe there is a light at the end of the tunnel

Yep this comes back to the social media echo chamber hive mind which makes people think their smarter than they are.

Imagine if you spent all day in your echo chamber and you beliefs make sense only in that echo chamber. As soon as they step out of it and try to debate a person with some sense their whole argument falls apart. Even if you lose, With social media you can just duck and run back to your echo chamber and be reaffirmed in your beliefs. The alt right is a perfect example of this
