It’s look interesting but I’m kind of tired of stereotypes of Black people in movies. It gives me Blaxploitation vibes. With that being said, is ‘They Cloned Tyrone’ worth the watch?

Ok…so I finished it yesterday and here’s my synopsis:

1. It’s a good movie even though it may be a bit cliche’d…

2. Felt like a cross between Undercover Brother…Josie & The P****cats and Austin Powers Meets The Hood…with a dash of Blaxploitation…

3. Had a good surprise cameo to play the arc villain…

4. They’re doin’ this s*** for real…

5. Overall felt like I’ve seen this movie done before…

Just watched it. Its literally about the title not much more to it storywise

lol this doesn't look like a stereotype movie at all. I just watched Trailer though. It feels more black dynamite or boondocks fun episode in tone. I say this as someone more tired of stereotypes in films than you likely are

The thing is this, I just finished watching ‘The Harder They Fall’ earlier today and it dumps on that trailer you just posted. That’s what I’m talkin’ about! Why the “Mr. T” voiceover? And why the velcro fros? Refer to ‘The Harder They Fall’! Time to come out of Jim Crow 70’s bellbottoms stereotype era movies and show Black people with some Dignity!

I think being it was made by a black filmmaker you should give it a chance. At least watch it to see why the costumes and hairstyle is the way it is.

And at the same time if a black filmmaker is trying to recreate some of their favorite black moments from the 70s, nothing wrong with that.

Ok, so he’s really in the movie too? Bet most def then. I saw another trailer of his about zombies but I don’t like zombie movies, lol.

Gonna watch it off the strength of the three leads, and I'd like to think the blaxploitation visuals are just that but the writing won't be like that.

True, I’m just mad at MJW for always s***tin’ on Bruce Lee but he’s still Spawn to me so I forgive him and he needs that role back! Nobody will ever be a better Spawn than Michael Jai White!
