I mean its meant to be more of a comedy than the trailer you posted but to me both look good. I guess if you view it that way though I can't recommend they cloned tyrone you seem to be kind of serious about it

It's definitely blaxploitation in terms of story and themes. It's definitely a critique on the history of blaxploitation films while also being an homage.

MJW is the first Black person to ever play a Major comic super book hero in a major motion picture! John Leguizamo also starred in the movie ‘Spawn’. The guy who made ‘Spawn’ now wants to cast Jamie Fox going forward if they ever make the next film instead but if you know or knew about Spawn you’d know that role will always belong to MJW aka Spawn.

Is he like the Siskel & Ebert of the board?

Jamie Foxx is a bigger draw than Michael Jai White, so I understand why the creator would want to use him for a new Spawn movie. And even though I'm sure Jamie Foxx can play a good Spawn, Michael Jai White is just...bro just Spawn man lol also White been in the game long enough and his acting his significantly improved since the first Spawn. Feel like he deserves the opportunity to reprise the role, especially since he ain't the reason it was a stinker.

Bet, the correlation is that I forgive MJW for s***tin’ on Bruce Lee because he’s Spawn and I was being a bit hard on his movie because of it but I still think Blaxploitation films need to stop!

Yeah, easily one of the best things to come from Netflix, period.

Ok…so I finished it yesterday and here’s my synopsis:

1. It’s a good movie even though it may be a bit cliche’d…

2. Felt like a cross between Undercover Brother…Josie & The P****cats and Austin Powers Meets The Hood…with a dash of Blaxploitation…

3. Had a good surprise cameo to play the arc villain…

4. They’re doin’ this s*** for real…

5. Overall felt like I’ve seen this movie done before…
