it’s insane to look at kendrick lamar now and remember this is where he was at a decade ago. crazy to think he was involved in a song with lyrics like “ I got this for ya, a little Thicke for ya, A big kiss for ya, I got a hit for ya, Big d*** for ya, let me give it to ya.” in a song that basically played as lil bro to Blurred Lines which aged poorly itself

seeing him in this horribly aged music video with the short hair is pretty funny tho

admittedly Kendrick’s verse isn’t too bad but it’s still such an anomaly to see now, I also completely forgot 2 Chainz was on this song and thought it was like a remix but no, one of his all time worst cashed in verses which just makes Kendrick’s appearance funnier

His verse on Radioactive was worse. Maybe another rapper could've found a flow that worked but imo that song wasn't made to have a rap verse on it

Classic Man was garbage too but Kendrick is the only thing saving it but he should've just done a straight up Fancy remix if he really wanted to do hop on that

at least radioactive was a good song on its own and one of the biggest of the decade

this ones more funnier to me since it lives in the shadow of a hit and artist people have tried to forget teamed with one of the most acclaimed of the last 20 years

Y'all corny as f*** making a new Kendrick hate thread every day

i understand what you’re saying but his live performance of it has always been iconic to me

felt like he was using that feature to set the stage for TPAB more than anything else, even back then

I wouldn’t call it embarrassing but it is one of the weirder things about an otherwise remarkable discography

in hindsight watching this video and hearing his verse it should have been Obvious that Kendrick was running thru women low key

Everytime I hear this song I cannot believe they didn't leave it on the cutting room floor.

Even wilder it became a hit.

Taylor has some good songs no hate to her but s*** like the chorus doesn't even feel on beat
