So question, do you pray in Arabic or English and does it matter? I hope thatās not a dumb or offense question.
Arabic, it does matter! Not dumb or offensive

Ok so is it just a memorization thing? Or do you need to know what the words mean? (Eventually I will know both but Iām asking initially).
Right now the app that I have has a guy doing the prayer because some of the words are very difficult to pronounce, is that ok?

yeah its okay to just say the words, thats actually how alot if not most non-arabic speaking muslims learn their prayers
but its good to like also read up on what youre actually saying so u understand it, but after that its all just recitation
the words are indeed very difficult to pronounce, even I (23 year old born muslim) cant pronounce it all perfectly.
but Allah is the most forgiving and what he wants from us is to see us trying, we're not expected to be perfect, but we should be striving to be if that makes sense

Baarakallahu feek. Be sure to go to your local masjid whenever you can!
The more I read and study, the more I find myself interested in Bektashism. I wish I didn't have to go back to Albania to involve myself further with the sect.
