Exactly how Prophet Muhammad sees Christians and Jews as People of the Book. All branches of the same tree.

Muslims made an exception for Zoroastrians and eventually accepted them as people "of the book" too and started taxing them accordingly even tough they were technically "fire worshippers", islamic history is very interesting like that, they realized it'ls more economical to tax them than try to convert them all

they werent accepted as people of the book, they were treated the same but they were never called people of the book.

if they were people of the book the wording here wouldnt be like it is.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Jafar ibn Muhammad ibn Ali from his father that Umar ibn al-Khattab mentioned the magians and said, "I do not know what to do about them." Abd ar-Rahman ibn Awf said, "I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, 'Follow the same sunna with them that you follow with the people of the Book . ' "

There were too many zoroastrians to kill ! back then the iranians had the farmlands and the knowledge to efficiently manage them, killing zoroastrians for being fireworshippers eventually became counterproductive and "accepting" their faith and taxing them accordingly was the better option to keep the economy going

Brother Kira I wrote a reply to you in the Scientology thread but undortunately it was locked and I couldnt post it. In your post regarding the absence of prayer instructions in the Quran and the importance of Hadiths you were opposed to Hadiths sciences and islamic traditions! As a Shia Postgraduate in Hadith Sciences I call Kufr and challenge you for calling Hadiths and islamic tradition and jurisprudence nonsense.

Imam Ali (AS) was at the Meraj before prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and directly bargained and recieved the instructions to for the 5 prayers a day (originally Allah (swt) had ordered 50); thus making Imam Ali the original master of the Art of the deal.

The second volume of Majlisi’s Hayatu-l-Kulub has been translated into English under the title the ‘Life and Religion of Muhammad,’ by Rev. James L. Merrick, Majlisi says (P. 190):

The Prophet declared that when he performed the Ascension, the angels inquired very particularly about Ali (A.S). ‘When I arrived,’ he continued, ‘at the fourth heaven, I saw the angel of death, who said that it was his office to take the soul of every creature by God’s command; but in the case of you and Ali (as), I will have to take your consent.’ When I came under the empyrean, I saw Ali ibn Abu Talib (A.S) standing there, and said to him, ‘O Ali have you got there before me?’ ‘Whom are you addressing’, asked Gabriel. ‘My brother’, I replied. ‘This is not Ali (as),’ said he, ‘but an angel of the Merciful God, whom he created in the likeness of Ali (A.S) and when those of us privileged to approach near the Deity wish to behold Ali (A.S), we visit this angel.”
