I’m black so that’s always first and foremost to me personally

I used to be super duper “oh la di da do what you want love who you want type” up until sophomore year of college. I saw kids at this gay pride rally playing with grown men on leashes and I was like “hmm maybe there was something to that slippery slope” thing. Also as a survivor of child sexual abuse a lot of that drag queen story time s*** just don’t sit right with my spirit. I believe a return to traditional family values is key (DISCLAIMER: I’m not homophobic. I like some freaky deaky s*** myself. My POV is just simply, why can’t we keep that s*** in the bedroom? Everyone don’t need to know and quite frankly it’s nothing to be prideful of)

I believe in reparations and UBI because anyone who fails to acknowledge the millennia long head start that white and Jewish people have had on minority Americans is an idiot.

Personally, I’m socially liberal and believe that the government should provide any needs to people that can’t otherwise afford it (housing, food, healthcare, transportation). We all share a world so we should pitch in to make it better for each other, you know. Also I think if somethings not really hurting anyone else there’s no reason to be against it

The only reason the chances that happening correctly are slim is because most people actually don’t agree with us. They think that the government shouldn’t be forced to help us even though we all pay it every year. They say things like government regulation leads to the system being worn down, and that’s true - because of corruption. To be fair, it’s also true for consumer goods which is why I’n against planned economies, but time has shown that necessities provided by the state aren’t necessarily disasters

Meaning embracing science, technology, and real statistics to diagnose and solve the social justice concerns that our population faces and will face in the future. Basically, investing in ways to help the most amount of people in need efficiently to address the undeniable problems of the past and eventually move forward to a more advanced society that is more inclusive and just.
