in your other post you said “consider people just like those textures” as if that was a counterpoint to me saying raps trends were moving slower. an example of a “texture” that people liked in the past could be anything whether it’s lil Jon or whoever, but niggas didn’t stay on lil Jon type sounds for as long as Niggas have stayed on lets say the primarily Pierre derived or even better shawty/Lex derived type beat construction that niggas have favored since the mid/late 2010’s.
