oh and yeah ur right i am bored asf im just waiting on this torrent to finish b4 I go to sleep
why r u going on to tell me abt what texture is u bonehead
the texture s*** is like producing 101. ut doesn't get discussed that much because why tf would anyone who takes this sht serious have to talk abt it? the texture of a song is processed and recognized when u hear it! and us producers, we listen for that s***! we don't need to lay it out in words, we hear it!
also for the record u can get vastly different textures using the same vsts
but it obviously ain’t a known thing if everyone using the same general s*** in the mainstream compared to 20-30 years ago . I could say the same thing you’re saying about your last sentence lol
but sorry for taking away from more important matters

have u considered that ppl just found that they like certain textures more than others? and that ppl value having a texture they like over having a texture that's completely brand new? there's nothing wrong w sticking to s*** that sounds good. and the "i wanna be original and make my own sounds" guys just end up sounding like kenny beats anyways.
also music now does not sound like music 20-30 years ago. yes i know there's some ppl on 2000s nostalgia making the same sounding s*** but that's like an edge case.
I think it's kinda hard for me to connect with his sound because of the slow tempo but this always gets in my bag

As if this has never been the case before in music history when trends still changed at a more frequent pace than rap since 2018-2019 lol

did Niggas not like lil Jon’s “textures” before shawty Redd and zay came out? Lol people have always had popular sounds they liked but trends still advanced
Essentially what you’re saying isn’t something that just popped up in 2018 for it to explain why raps sound advancement or diversity has slowed compared to how fast it moved every 2-3 years before 2016-2018 or so

wtf are u talking abt
am i supposed to take u seriously when u say that s*** abt how rap's production is changing slower than it used to? i mean how would u even judge that? u can't rlly quantify it, and i don't think ur like some omnipotent music industry god, or some rlly rlly informed researcher.
let's both agree that, even tho ur presenting it as objective, ur rlly just talking abt ur personal feelings when u say s*** is changing slower.
and the first part abt lil jon? that point doesn't make any sense at all. like straight zero sense.
@user im sorry for going so hard on u im tired and i get easily fixated on sht when im tired. at the end of the day ur a cool dude and i fw u. now my download finished so i can go get faded than a hoe have a nice night

in your other post you said “consider people just like those textures” as if that was a counterpoint to me saying raps trends were moving slower. an example of a “texture” that people liked in the past could be anything whether it’s lil Jon or whoever, but niggas didn’t stay on lil Jon type sounds for as long as Niggas have stayed on lets say the primarily Pierre derived or even better shawty/Lex derived type beat construction that niggas have favored since the mid/late 2010’s.
The rest of your post is you just reaching for something to argue about cuz it’s a thread on here alone every other day saying rap sounds the same. It’s plenty of videos with millions of views on YouTube with niggas discussing the same s***. Nigga T Pain went viral a few months or whatever ago yelling about this same s*** lol. So no I’m not some music industry omnipotent God I’m just one of the many Niggas on the internet that you see saying rap sounds the same and has for a few years lol

the fact that other old ppl have also said the same s*** u said does nothing to convince me that stuff is actually changing slower. old ppl stay saying sht all the time.
i have more to say but i told u good night already and this weed not gonna smoke itself
y'all need to listen to his self titled
