If he is rushing the ending... There seems little point to do part 9

Did Araki ever follow up the plotpoint in the stadium with the rokaka? If I recall correctly Jo2uke had to stop his search and that was 40 chapters or so ago

I think it would be good if you see it as three trilogies.

First three parts are about the O.G jojos
Four thru six are the kids
Seven thru nine are the new universe

Bruh it just hit me, 4-6 mcs really are all the kids off the og mcs something so obvious and i couldn’t see it for years

Makes me mad when i think about part five. this nigga is literally dios son but it rarely gets brought up

I can’t say that I’ve experienced that but he’s written to be in part Jon and Dio

I have my own gripes about p5, but the main one is that i think giorno should have went thru an internal conflict being from jon and dio

I think that would’ve been interesting for a good mini-arc within the part, and then they do what they do with him representing a “best of” from both their personalities.

Maybe because 4 and 6 are written as nostalgia trips very often, and Araki didn’t want 5 to also be like that, but it’s essentially like all the Japan events and everyone from there gets left in the past once Koichi departs from Giorno. There’s pros and cons with that, to me

I don’t love part 5, but the anime did a lot to make me at least respect it and respect Araki for doing something that end up being significantly different than the original trilogy or 4/6

It seems like he is rushing the ending and with the volume being complete in 2 chapters... It coud end in two months.

That being said I still have hope that Araki resolves al the plotpoints

No way in hell this is the last part, but the thematic of ending the curse man...that's the crux of Jojo. I just don't know how you wrap up a 30 year curse in two chapters though
