with just a normal estimate, I see part 8 in the anime ending by 2030 and a part 9 manga, if Araki took a 2ish year break, ending by 2030

just an interesting thought that stemmed from a tweet I saw

I don't get this frustration tbh, but I guess it depends on how you perceive Araki as a writer and what was the necessities in a conclusion

1. I don't think there's any major characters who won't get a decent conclusion (or can't within the span of another 50 pages). I think there's quite a few who we were in a limbo on if they were really gone or not and it unfortunately seems like all of them will be
2. He can tie this into the flashback
3. The overarching conflict of this family is solved, by Josuke
4. I personally didn't see how it could've been anyone other than the HD as the last baddie for a while now
5. He will likely tie in universal Jojo concepts again

NOW, I say all this because I think Part 9 will happen and will give us a glimpse into a world after these solutions. It will have his own conflict, but I think the payoff of the past 8 parts will be a huge thematic in it. If there is not a part 9, and the curse is just solved in 2 chapters...a pretty unsatisfying conclusion I'd say

I think it'd be maddd short if he gave it to us though. I couldn't see more than 5-6 years, and even that, he probably delegates some of it towards those last couple years. Which I'd be personally be fine with, as a potential link b/t part 6 and this current universe is all I ever wanted, but there's obv a ton of risk there

I was hoping for Jobin to play a bigger role ( one of my fav characters in the entire series). And the mother also to play a bigger role

Job ultimately got what he wanted through the actions of his mother. The family appears to be united through these sacrifices. The curse got broken. UNFORTUNATELY, the estate is probably f\*\*\*ed but we'll see if that's confirmed
