kinda saw the same thing happen with Majors...the report about the assault came out and all the sudden you had people coming out the woodwork about how he was a POS back in the day and I'm like "where was this talk before???" and all those accusations were mainly that he was just a jerk to work with (like plenty of people aren't jerks to work with)
and it's not like record companies/movie studios haven't been known for smear campaigns against those who piss them off or do them wrong...not saying that's the case here exactly but also not gonna just assume Jonah Hill a rapist creep just because someone said it in response to a post about him being a controlling boyfriend lol
