this movie is so unique, the way it exists in the confines of our reality but breaks it with its science fiction is incredible. Jordan is so talented and im glad hes committed to making original films

My thoughts…

Brilliant, original concept! Tons of fun! The cinematography upgrade is noted and appreciated! Great details! Jordan Peele has really upped his directing game! Great, glorious images! Love the themes!

As for negatives… I do wish there was time for a little more in the way of character flourishes. Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer, and Steven Yeun are phenomenal actors, but it felt like something was missing. I feel the bite marks, but I don’t feel like the teeth were really sunk in. Also, the subplot… How that was integrated didn’t exactly land with me. I think I see where it’s going on a thematic level, but it’s not really in service of a character or story that does a lot with it. Ultimately feels like a little too much of a diversion, for too little payoff.
