Peele movies just feel like SNL skits extended out. Honestly just seems like he’s trying to make Shyamalan esque movies but he hates genre filmmaking and just tries to go for woke politics instead

Well scares or thrills, I really felt nothing watching Get Out beyond having a chuckle at the “woulda voted Obama for a third time” line even though I laughed at it because white liberals really be like that but I don’t think Peele intended it in that way

Honestly best aspect of get out was Lil Rel because the concept is so ridiculous that it just made me laugh at how Peele pretty much made a movie with the substance of a B tier black Twitter post

I saw get out as a hybrid of comedy and thriller with a tiny touch of twilight zone/tales from the crypt style horror

The stuff with the dad trying too hard to seem open and liberal was spot on. Matter of fact rel seemed like he was in a completely different and more slap stick movie. Very surprised they went with the happy ending over that alt ending.

word definitely....i'm not the biggest fan of happy endings lol so I think i would of preferred the Alt ending but at the same time i'm not mad at the choice they made

Yeah it fits his message better but at the same time woulda had ppl leaving the theater pissed and this movie was more of a crowd pleaser so that ending fit better as opposed to US which was way out there and had ppl walking outta the theater like wtf was that s*** lol
