i do wish the movie left a little more of the monster to be unseen/unexplained

peele was perfectly nailing the horror aspects and i get it was just a pivot for the final act but it was definitely more fun in the earlier parts for me

Then his films would lose their identity.
Peele films feel unique af and thats mainly because how he approaches his writing

All of his films look completely different from a tone and cinematography standpoint, but what makes his films all feel like "Peele" is the unique writing

reviews for this are all over the place.. i already know the plot/twist without seeing it but what's the word on here?

this scene alone goes harder than anything in NOPE

That is a phenomenal scene, but im not saying Us is a bad film at all. Lupita deserved awards for her role

But I'm comparing the writing and themes between both films though.
The themes for NOPE just feel more focused and clear. And the more you think about the film the more things really start to come together and tie in perfectly.

Peele took a big swing with Us and I really respect it, but I just dont think it stuck the landing at the end as well as it could've. Us has great build up and tension though, especially in the 1st half
