Going in with more understanding of the themes and the underlying tension really made it better to pick up on the small details and foreshadowing with key things. The movie looks so phenomenal in imax. The major sequences absolutely stood out. The only thing I wish I could’ve savored was the mystery and intensity of the first watch, not knowing what to expect next. But that’s to be expected with a rewatch.
Still feel like a 9-9.5/10 to me

I wasn’t really wow’d by the movie. Admittedly I think I missed the first 5 minutes? When I arrived the opening credits were ending and then the commercial or w/e scene is where I started from.
I was also sorta vibing off an edible, wasn’t high though. My girl got too high though so that sorta distracted me. She got so anxious and paranoid at one point during the movie that she closed her eyes and ended up falling asleep
Imma go peep it again in a week or two, just off one viewing, this is the weakest outta his 3 movies for me so far. It’s still a good movie, Get Out & Us is a high bar to overcome imo.
Also idk if it was the film or the sound was f***ed up in my theater which was definitely a negative experience. At numerous points throughout the movie, particularly whenever KeKe would talk, there would be an echo to her voice n then Daniel’s voice sounded a bit muffled at some points.

i think with daniel it’s partially cause of the way he chose to speak
