Yep, I grew up in the ‘core’ scene and there were always tons of girls there. Most of the kids I went to school with didn’t fw that type of music so it was always cool meet other people who did. Saw a ton of killer bands too

I feel that. A lot of the core stuff I don’t listen to as much anymore, but I still fw metal pretty heavy, black and death especially.

But again, I'll always have a soft spot for the stuff and will periodically listen to a couple tracks or even albums I used to like from back then.

I remember Thursday, I never really got into them, but I also never tried lol. I’ll have to give them a spin. Coheed & Cambria is a band like that for me, someone I’ve always just loved their music and it’ll always have a timeless appeal to me, even if I don’t actively listen to them as much as I used to.

But that’s dope, I’m the same way, I listen to rap the most but I can kinda listen to just about anything and find something I enjoy.

I had their discography at the time back in 2006 but I was exploring so much s*** (i was new to rock back then) I didnt dive into it how I wanted to.

All their albums (BNO) sound different. Trainwreck is a good concept album if youre into those.

anything by dulli, i tend to like a lot. his music is so evocative what he writes & sings.
