Another pointer; in conversation with others, attempt to take an interest in who they are and the things they have to say. Probably seems pointless (or at least it did to me at one point), but it helps a lot with socializing and carrying a conversation.

Life is a constant struggle period. Some may be less fortunate than others but everybody has struggles and hurdles they need to overcome. Rich, poor, white, black. Overcoming adversities while being true to who you are is so important.

He told me how gray I was during cards against humanity, and the sad part is I tried as best as I could to be fun and engaging.
She lost interest in me because I am boring and dull, I tried loosening up, even when tipsy I'm still just a swaggless weirdo.
And when a look at myself on video all I see is awkward fool. I looked at photos with a previous girl and saw how dead I looked.
Done with dating, done with people I don't care about anything anymore. I thought depression was done for but it was just hiding around the corner..

I resonated you a bit with my younger brother, he has issues with giving out his opinion without sounding dry af, like for example, i put him on one piece and he somehow managed to watch 200 episodes and dropped it because it was no fun and the episodes were too stretched out... im like bro you watched 200 episodes of that s*** and this is your reason
But thats just his character i guess.

Oct 13, 2020I was the same way as recently as 2-3 years ago, I wish I knew what caused me to stop giving a f*** and accepting who I am but I can't really say. After a while I was simply content. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones in that regard

Best thing to do is just accept yourself for who you are and fix how you view yourself. You're not a boring, lifeless person, you're just a low intensity, relaxed individual. Its the low self-confidence that makes people see you in that negative light, or at least thats what it was with me.
Don't try to over-engage with people around you, it doesn't work and will just lead to internal frustration. Also, people have a sense of when a person is trying to "imitate" a personality or behavior that does not come natural and they don't like it, so that just makes it worse. You're an introvert and thats alright.
Confidence is the key. Learn to have confidence in yourself as an introvert, and speak up when spoken to or when you have something of importance to say.
